The Institute conducts all India open sports climbing competition, Zonal sports climbing competitions to promote the technical climbing skills of the climbers, Boldering and rock climbing comptitions are also arranged at the local level by the Institute. The Institute also actively participates in conducting and organising the winter sports events, seminars, and Corporate Work Shop.

Competition brings out the team building spirit, accepting challenging assignments, improving risk taking capacities, confidence building and motivation for achieving the desired targets.
